Recommend IntrApp, and get paid every month
If you work with small and medium companies, you can probably name from memory the ones running on three spreadsheets and a group chat. The commission is 10 percent, for up to 12 months, on every subscription that comes from you.
This was not built for advertisers
The best recommendation comes from someone who can already see from the inside what is not working at a company. These trades tend to be sitting exactly there.
System administrators and IT
Consultants and operations advisers
Agencies and digitalisation partners
How much, for how long, from when
Commission is paid on the monthly fee of the subscription you brought in, for as long as it runs, up to 12 months. Payouts from a balance of 10 €. There is no joining fee.
One real customer, with real numbers
IntrApp pricing is public and simple, so you can calculate the commission in advance instead of estimating it.
An eight person company with 10 gigabytes of data pays 85 € a month, made up of 20 € base, 8 € per person, and storage. Your commission on that is 8.50 € a month, so over 12 months it is 102 € from a single recommendation.
If that company grows, the commission grows with it, because it is a share of the monthly fee rather than a flat amount.
A three person company is the other end of the range, at 37 € a month, so 3.70 € in commission, and 44.40 € over a year. Five or six customers of mixed sizes is a recurring line rather than pocket money.
Since the commission runs only while the subscription does, what matters is that they stay. Which is why it does not pay to recommend it to someone who will work out in two months that this was not what they needed.
Four steps, and no sales training in them
The whole process runs in the affiliate admin, so you are not the one keeping track of who did what and when.
You sign up
You get your own link
They sign up and subscribe
The commission arrives monthly
What we expect, and what we do not
There is one expectation, and it is better placed on this page than in clause seven of a contract.
One new paying partner per quarter
You do not have to sell
You have no access to their data
When the money reaches you
Commission accumulates in the admin, and a payout can be requested from a balance of 10 €. The exact payout rules and the details needed for them are in the affiliate terms and conditions, because those are contractual terms rather than marketing copy. What is worth knowing here is that you are not the one keeping the accounts, because the admin shows what has accumulated per customer. The threshold is deliberately low, so a single smaller customer does not mean waiting half a year for a first payout.
What to say, and when to say nothing
There is no pitch to learn. Three lines that tend to work, and one situation where it is better to keep quiet.
If they are suffering with an old system
If they run the company on spreadsheets
When not to recommend it
The binding version
The numbers above are here so you can decide in advance. The exact calculation of commission, the payout rules, the eligibility conditions and what happens if the programme ends are all in the affiliate terms and conditions, linked in the footer of every page with a version number and a date. If the two ever differ, that document governs. Worth reading before you sign up rather than after.
See what you would be recommending
A recommendation is worth as much as your knowledge of the thing you are recommending. The demo runs on an invented company with its data filled in, and needs no signup. Some functions are switched off in it, and it resets overnight.
